Absolutely wonderful! I have Loved Carini's since I was a kid (late 80's, early 90's) there is a reason why local businesses stay open 25+ years, and for Carini's it's because of great food, great people, and great service! Mr. Fuentes and his wonderful staff are very welcoming and respectful which makes you feel comfortable, like home.
The lasagna was good. It did not have a lot of meat in it but the flavoring was very good. Prices are very reasonable as well. Lunch special was only $7.50. I would recommend giving it try.
Just recently moved here from NJ, originally from NY and I've been on a quest to find good pizza. Search is over! The closest to NY pizza I can find in VA! Thank you. Can't wait to come for dinner!!
It's okay. I admit I'm picky about Italian food. I just think pizza should have zing. This pizza is okay but I have had better from frozen from a grocery store.
Just tried Carini's for the first time. The woman who answered the phone was very confident that we'd appreciate real NY-style pizza, and she definitely had a good reason to be. The pizza was the best I've had within an hour of their store, edging out Cesare's in Chester and the Mellow Mushroom in Richmond. Just be sure to order it well done. Very friendly staff, an impressive menu, and a cozy atmosphere. I can't wait to take my lady here for a romantic dinner.
The food is amazing, The best in Colonial Heights! Pizza, Subs, Salads, and Lasagna are my favorite but I want to try a lot more, I'm sure it will all be amazing! If you haven't already tried Carini's, stop by and pick up a pizza, it will be you new favorite restaurant!
