My 96 year old mom is there for rehab. I have found the staff very friendly and attentive. Mom gets agitated at night and I decided to see how often they would give her medication to calm her down. I was happy to see from her records that they have only used medication twice in the last week and instead bring her to the nurses station to interact with her. No place is perfect but I do believe that they do care about my mom and this is just not a job for them. So far I am very happy.
Awful place. I was sent here after back surgery for physical therapy. I was there three days before I saw a therapist. Food was inedible; served a bologna sandwich for supper which consisted of a single slice of meat between two slices of bread with no condiments or lettuce, tomato. No way to secure my possessions, and roommate was constantly rummaging through my belongings. Roommate watched tv all night long and pooped in her bed to get attention. I left after four days because I could not stand it. This is not a rehab center, this is a place dying people are abandoned by their families. Difficult patients are physically abused by the staff.
2 nights in a row my god mother called me to say she needed to use the restroom and no response to call button request. When I call was transferred 3 times. Finally I was told they don't have anyone sitting at the nurses station to monitor patient room signal request. Kinda like dialing 911 and no one answers.
Dirty and incompetent. Dont trust them with your loved ones!
Staff members openly make out with one another, one instance this guy and girl out in car girl sitting on guy laps gyrating and making out
