Extremely Beautiful store very welcoming employees. However, if you want to buy overpriced items this will be your go too neighborhood store. For example, I love Halo Protien Ice Cream, I normally pay 3.99-4.99 @ Krogers, 4.97 @Food lion 3.88 @ Wal-Mart. publicly price 5.49....So as pretty as it is.......I will continue to shop wisely at other Neighborhood strores.
While the employees are eager to help, and the quality of the made in store products I tried, is great, this is not a store I would frequent.
I go to Publix every now & then because it’s not even five minutes down the road from where I live, today I went to pick up just a few items & when I went to checkout I was not only greeted by the cashier who was very nice & helpful, but the person who was bagging my items is why I’m writing this review. He made sure my experience was nothing short but amazing, made sure I found everything ok, if I needed any further help, he bagged my items & took the cart to my car & put my groceries in for me (which I never asked him to do because it was cold outside & I don’t like asking the workers to take my groceries to my car when I’m perfectly able to do it myself) but he was so happy & positive to do it that I couldn’t tell him “no”. As we walked out together, he asked me about my day, we talked about how good the sushi is & what our favorite sushi is, etc. he had such a electric & positive attitude that it makes me want to go to Publix everyday just to talk with him again. I wish I would have gotten his name, but the only way I can describe him so maybe y’all will recognize who I’m talking about is he talks like he is deaf (I mean that in the nicest way possible, I just want to get him recognized for the awesome person he is) or is maybe half deaf, idk, looks like he may be in his early or mid 20’s, he was just an amazing person with an even more amazing attitude. I really hope he gets promoted or a higher position soon, he is one person I can whole heartdly say deserves it.
The in store Starbucks was definitely bad. The lead barista (I am assuming, as she was ordering the other employees about) told the cashier to incorrectly ring up my order. I was charged extra for decaf. The drink was made completely wrong, yet two employees both assured me it was correct. Having worked at Starbucks, and being a frequent customer (many different locations, too) I knew the order was wrong.
The location is great and the staff is very cordial and. Friendly. The store is neatly organized and very clean.
I was not at all impressed by their pricing. Even the sales were lackluster. The parking lot is very small for the size of the store. Parking took circling around for any empty spot.
Best beer selection of any supermarket in town. Deli and bakery is the best. My only real complaint is that it has an extremely small parking lot, which makes finding a space a big pain at peak times.
