The staff is always wonderful. The doctors have always been very wonderful and knowledgeable. Been a client there for over 15 years. The biggest plus about the office is that they genuinely care about the animal well-being and will not break the bank in any way. They work very.closely with the.colonial heights SPCA and try and figure out a game plan for people that are low on funds for the animals sake. I cannot say enough.

Excellent staff/veterinarians, I highly recommend them....they treat your fur babies like their own. They are always slammed though, which speaks volumes.
I love Dr. Metry...she is the best! When she retires then I go! I have been taking my pets to her for 20 plus years! She is, absolutely, wonderful!
UPDATE: I took my dog there last year because he had a growth, the intern was practically telling me that it was the dreadful C word without having confirmation. I'm not expecting false hope, but don't tell me my dog could die when you DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE ISSUE IS! They wanted around $830 for his surgery!!! I love my dogs...but felt that was pretty steep. I received a bill for the fine needle asipration and the visit, yet still didn't know what was wrong with my dog....now yes, services were rendered...but with NO diagnosis?? Wound up going to another vet and the price was close to $500. It turned out to be a lick granuloma, just like I suspected. Even asked this alleged intern at Col. Hgts and he said no. I understand this is a business, but can't animal hospitals care about your animals as well as your budget?! I know having pets aren't cheap, but it's nearly impossible to be able to afford the basic visits with the high dollar costs. Will not go back to this animal hospital, as they care more about nickeling and diming you to death, rather than doing the right thing.
