My daughter has worked at this store for a year...as well as attend college and work another job. They have always been accommodating to her and her availability, until now. A different manager (Marshall)...is butting heads with her and basically being a BULLY! She works weekend shifts, covers for other people, and picks up everyone's loose ends, she goes above and beyond. This manager just told her that she can no longer have off every other Sunday to go visit her father who has cancer, and lives an hour away. He told her that schedule no longer works for him. Hello...it has worked for a very long time...just because you have a personal issues, does NOT justify your actions! Bullying an employee who goes above and beyond in all that she does....does NOT make you a better person!
Of all the Dick's I've been to, this one seem to have the best deals. From clothing, to shoes and sports gears, they have it all at a great price.
The worker's are really friendly but its really busy here so it's hard to find a worker when you need help
I purchased an $800.00 Barnett Crossbow three weeks ago from Dick's Sporting Goods in Colonial Heights VA. When I took it out of the box the scope rail was not centered, it points to the left. The pamphlet in the box stated to contact Barnett directly as opposed to returning the item to the store. After repeated attempts to contact Barnett via phone, I was told they do not manufacture the bow any longer and could not understand why it was still being sold by retailers. I was then emailed a return label and asked to send the stock back to Barnett and they would look at it and determine the course of action. It's been over a week since Barnett received the stock and I have yet to hear from them nor can I get an email response or reach anyone at the customer service number they provided. The attempt to rectify this issue has been going on more than THREE WEEKS.
