Great store, great prices, friendly people work there. Easy in and out
We spent over 300 on gifts, an when the checkout clerk said we qualify for their current promotion to get a free $10 gift card we were charged an extra $10. There excuse was it will take off upon check out, Nope. Long story short, 2 clerks, 1 supervisor, an 1 manager later they figured out there promotion. Give it the 1st clerk was very nice, the 2nd an supervisor Rude. If you don't know the answer then don't lie an blame it on the taxes. Just get your store manager over to squash the issue not make a customer wait 45min after the purchase to figure out the solution.
Only two clerks working made check out a little slow. Hopefully it will be better on Black Friday.

This Toys R Us is awful. I walked in here and bought my son a microphone that cost $20 came out put the batteries in, in my truck, while I was still sitting in the parking lot and it didn't work. I went back into the store and talked to the manager ,Jeff ,who proceeded to tell me that without my drivers license information he could not refund me. He then proceeded to point out on a little Matt that is on the checkout counter in tiny little writing that you cannot get a refund if you don't have a driver's license. Then he pretended like he was going to give me my refund and ran it through the system and gave me a decline slip and made a big deal of it in front of everybody that it was declined since I wouldn't give him my license. Then I asked him what happens if somebody who's under age and can't drive comes in and buys something are you telling me that you can't give them a refund and he proceeded to tell me yes. I then told him maybe he should have his people who do the checkout make people aware that in order to get a refund you must have a driver's license. He then laughed in my face and acted like he was going to run it again so it would decline and he could give me another decline slip. I called him out on this and just told him why don't you just exchange it for another one I don't know why he didn't do this in the first place. He is very unprofessional and should not be a manager of anything in my opinion. So beware buyers at Toys R Us you cannot get a refund unless you're willing to give Toys R Us your driver's license so that they can have all of your personal information in their computer system.
