Slow service. Dirty restroom. Slippy and dirty floor. Got the food order wrong and over charged. Never checked on us. I've had better service at taco Bell drive thru
One of the last few A&Ws in Virginia. And it looks like they are trying to improve! A&W root beer is now on the soda machine, not as cool as the old tap, but it should still be made in house and it should help avoid constant problems with the tap. The root beer was indeed awesome and properly carbonated. Also had salted caramel shake special, which was very good. No food tested this time.
Worse one i ever ate. Staff was slow and act like they didnt want to be there. Food was cold and look like it was out all day. Ordered a chili dog and just got dog. Only bright spot was the cheese curds. Never again.
Fish tasted putrid. Me and my brother just wanted a classic root beer float, but we were hungry. Ended up wasting a total of 16 dollars on awful food. Maybe the batter was of bad quality? It smelled rotten either way. Good hush puppies and a decent float, but a restaurant can’t survive on floats alone. The fries were also a bit greasier than I remember. Well, you had a good run A&W. Gone, and soon forgotten.
